Savory Blended Cottage Cheese Bowl Recipe

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 red bell pepper diced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (parsley, chives, thyme) chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper* to taste
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1/4 cup cucumber diced
  • 2 tablespoons red onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon bagel seasoning optional

Sweet Blended Cottage Cheese Bowl Recipe

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
  • 2 tablespoons almonds or walnuts chopped
  • Pinch of cinnamon

Instructions
 

Savory Blended Cottage Cheese Bowl Recipe

  • In a food processor, combine the cottage cheese, diced red bell pepper, chopped fresh herbs, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides of the processor as needed.
  • With the processor running, drizzle in the olive oil until fully incorporated and the dip reaches your desired consistency.
  • Transfer the blended cottage cheese dip to a serving bowl.
  • Top with tomatoes, cucumber, red onion and bagel seasoning.

Sweet Blended Cottage Cheese Bowl Recipe

  • In a high powered blender or food processor add cottage cheese, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth (about 2 minutes).
  • Once smooth, add to a bowl and top with fruit, nuts, and cinnamon.

Notes

*I have not included nutrition information for this recipe. It will depend on toppings, cottage cheese and other variables.
*Be careful adding too much salt for the savory cottage cheese recipe. If your bagel seasoning comes with salt, skip adding the salt.
